Going to Naughty Nits for lice treatment for my daughter was the best decision I could have made. I tried treating my daughter at home with pesticide shampoo and after two treatments and many days of nit combing and still not being able to get rid of them, I finally made the call to Naughty Nits. They got us in right away, thoroughly checked my older daughter and me and treated my younger daughter. It was stress-free and a great friendly atmosphere. 6 months later and my family remains lice free! Let me begin by stopping the myth that African Americans are immune to a lice infestation. My entire household had them. After hours of research (none of my friends or family had ever dealt with lice) and seeing the reviews, we decided on Naughty Nits. We walked into a clean, quiet office. The ladies already made a plan to have my little ones on our lap, and distract them with a movie while treating their hair (totally worked). They were knowledgeable on combing our texture of hair. No crazy hair breakage or pain was experienced. My husband and I received the heated treatment (felt like a massage for your scalp). I see a lot of people bringing up the price however we felt we saved a lot of money by going straight to the professionals and not investing in numerous over the counter treatments that are ineffective not to mention unsafe for my children. After treating my daughter twice at home I thought we had gotten rid of all the lice but lone and behold as I was brushing her hair a couple of weeks later, I saw some more eggs. So being as fed up as I was, I decided to call naughty nits. My first impression of them over the phone as they were very friendly and accommodating. They are open 7 days a week and have late hours which are perfect with our busy schedules and offer same-day treatment. When we got there the staff was very friendly. While treating my daughter and inspecting me (which they do in the same room) they let my daughter pick out a movie to watch while we got treated/checked. The facility was very clean and the staff was very knowledgeable and offered great tips. They also answered all my questions and eased my mind of any concerns I had. The products they use are all-natural which was wonderful. I wish so badly we would have gone there first before I spent money on harsh chemicals and sprays that did not work in the end. If we ever come across this problem again, I know right where I’m going. 🙂
